Trudy Annette Tate, 44 of Woodlawn, passed away on Thursday, October 28, 2010 at Blue Ridge Nursing Home in Stuart, VA. She was preceded in death by her father Burton Tate. Trudy is survived by her husband Tim Albert of Woodlawn; daughter and son-in-law Alesha and Michael Marion of Elkin, NC; son Timothy Albert of Woodlawn; mother Sylvia Lou Tate of Woodlawn; brother Wade Tate of Woodlawn; and three grandchildren Peyton Marion, Alison Marion, and Michelle Marion.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 30, 2010 at 11:00 AM at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel with Rev. Jay Grandel and Rev. Jim Churchwell. Burial will follow in the Sandy Ridge Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, October 29, 2010 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM.
