Trayhamn (Tray) Darrell Stilwell, 69 of Galax, passed away on Thursday, April 16, 2015 at Golden Living Center Blue Ridge. Mr. Stilwell was born in Carroll County, Virginia to the late Charlie Andrew and Winters Virginia Moore Stilwell. Survivors include his brother and sister-in-law, Joe and Lynn Stilwell of Galax; nieces and nephews and spouses, Dennis and Nicole Newman, Carlie Stilwell, Christyan Stilwell, Paris Stilwell, and Cameron Helton all of Galax; his extended family from Golden Living Center; and special caregiver, Marsha Stamper. A graveside service with burial following will be held on Saturday, April 18, 2015 at 2:00 P.M. at Liberty Hill Cemetery with Pastor Ernie Smith and Pastor Robert Smith officiating. Military rites will be conducted by the Hillsville V.F.W. Grover King Post 1115. The family will receive friends at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel on Saturday from 12:30 until 1:30 PM prior to the graveside service. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
