Tony Ray Harrell, 47, of Cana, passed away on Wednesday, July 22, 2015 at his home. Mr. Harrell was born in Surry County, NC on September 6, 1967. Survivors include his wife, Bonita C. Harrell of the home; children, Elizabeth Jean Farmer of Lambsburg, Joseph Fredrick Berrier of Lincolnton, NC, and Laken Ashlee Hash of Independence; parents, T.J. and Jean Harrell of Cana; sister, Patty Jo Marsh of Cana; brother, Tommy Lee Harrell of Cana; and grandchildren, Abygayle Ruth Hash and Kyleigh Ann Farmer. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 25, 2015 at Rocky Ford Congregational Christian Church at 4:00 PM with Anthony Thomas and Rev. Joe Pyles officiating. Burial will follow in the Martin Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church on Saturday from 2:00 until 4:00 PM prior to the service. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
