Todd Gwynn, 37 of Ararat, passed away at his home on Friday, August 4, 2023.  Deputy Gwynn was born in North Carolina on December 2, 1985.  He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Ellis and Icy Gwynn.

Survivors include his wife, Keshia Gwynn; sons, Alec Gwynn and Micah Gwynn; parents, Jimmie and Wendie Gwynn; brother and sister-in-law, David and Heather Gwynn; maternal grandparents, Jerry and Tomi Pendleton; nieces, Zoe Gwynn and Aubrey Gwynn; special friends, Chuck and Heather Edwards; and several other family and friends.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 11, 2023 at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel at 1:00 PM with Pastor Anthony Thomas officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM prior to the funeral service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family to be used for his sons, Alec and Micah. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
