Timothy Dale Lewis, better known as Timber, 45 of Galax, passed away on Wednesday, April 16, 2008 at his residence. Mr. Lewis is survived by his mother Christine Lewis of Austinville; brother Dexter Olen Lewis of Fancy Gap; sisters Teresa Dickens of Hillsville, Dana Goad of Fancy Gap and Norma Thomas of Austinville; special friend Sheila Roach of North Carolina; step-son Arthur Roach of North Carolina; one grandchild and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 19, 2008 at 1:00 PM at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel with Rev. Harvey Carico officiating. Burial will follow in the Light Cemetery in Meadows of Dan. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the funeral service.
