Thursa Elizabeth McMillian, 82 of Hillsville, passed away on Monday, November 5, 2018 at Hillsville Nursing and Rehabilitation. Mrs. McMillian was born in Carroll County to the late Kenny and Maudie Edmonds. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Rush Jackson McMillian; daughter, Dianne McMillian; and several siblings.

Survivors include her daughter, Roma Stevens of Hillsville; son and daughter-in-law, Chris and Kina McMillian of Mocksville, NC; grandchildren, Calvin Grubb, Nicky McMillian, Hannah McMillian, Victoria Tabor, and Meghan Jade; and great-granddaughter, Caitlin Grubb.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, November 8, 2018 at 2:00 PM at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady with Rev. Debbie Ginder officiating. Burial will follow in Monta Vista Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 1:00 until 2:00 PM prior to the funeral service. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
