Thornton Eugene White Sr., 63 of Hillsville, passed away Tuesday, November 15, 2005 at his residence. Mr. White is survived by his sons T. (Thornton, Jr.) White & wife Sainde of Richmond and Thomas A. White of Richmond; fianc Sallie Hall of Hillsville; brother Sylvan L. White, Sr. & wife Faye of Hillsville; sisters Lena W. Dalton of Richmond and Louetta Young & husband Maxie of Hillsville; two grandsons; and several nieces & nephews. Funeral services will be Thursday, November 17, 2005 at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel in Hillsville, VA at 11:00 A.M. Clergyman Michael Bond will officiate. Burial will follow in the White Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday night at the funeral home from 6:00 to 8:00 PM.
