Thomas "Tom" Ray Worrell, 64, of Hillsville, passed away unexpectedly Friday evening. He was born Feb. 11, 1954 in Carroll County to the late Woodrow and Ita Alderman Worrell. Tom loved the fast lane, but it came to an abrupt stop on Friday, November 16, 2018.

A graveside service will be conducted Wednesday, Nov. 21, 2018 at 2 p.m. at the Worrell Cemetery. The Christian Motorcycle Association will pay final respects. They will rev up their engines for Tom to hear one last time. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Christian Motorcycle Association (CMA) Run for The Son, 132 Gardner Street, Mount Airy, NC 27030. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady is assisting the family.
