Thomas Huett Edward Doss, 35 of Hillsville, passed away on Tuesday, August 22, 2023 at his home. Mr. Doss was born in Galax, Virginia on October 1, 1987.  He was preceded in death by his father, Danny D. Doss, Sr.; brother, Danny D. Doss, Jr.; maternal grandparents, Rush and Swanson Alderman; and paternal grandparents, George W. (June) and Claudia Doss.

Survivors include his mother, Elaine Alderman; son, Kairen Rush Doss; fiancée, Aisha Poole; sister, Dalva Doss (Daniel McGlothlin); uncle, Joe Doss; aunt, Kathy Brown; three nephews; and several cousins.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, September 1, 2023 at Dinwiddie Presbyterian Church at 2:00 PM with Pastor Jonathan Smith officiating.  Inurnment will follow in the Gardner Memorial Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the church on Friday from 1: 00 until 2:00 PM prior to the memorial service.  Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
