Thomas Ruben Bunn, 65 of Fancy Gap, passed in peace on November 18, 2019 at Forsyth Hospital. Mr. Bunn was born in Fancy Gap, VA to the late Ruben and Ruth Stoneman Bunn. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a sister, Sue Burcham.

Survivors include his son, Dr. Chris Bunn of Staunton; daughter, Stephanie Bunn of Galax, sisters, Kay Carter and Jean Marshall both of Fancy Gap and Ann Davis of Aiken, SC; grandchildren, Zion Sawyers and Zaya Sawyers; and several nieces and nephews.

Thomas was a lifelong resident of Fancy Gap and a farmer and a truck driver. He will be fondly remembered by countless friends and family that loved him dearly.

A private family service was held by his loved ones to spread his ashes on his farm in Fancy Gap, Virginia. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Sky View Missionary Baptist Church 129 Skyview Drive, Fancy Gap, VA 24328 or to the charity of your choice. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
