Theresa Horning Gardner, 52, of Hillsville passed away on Friday, July 28, 2017 at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem, NC.

Survivors include her husband, Gary "Scott" Gardner of the home; son, Jacob Hawks of Hillsville; parents, Jane and Jacque Horning of Mt. Airy, NC; mother-in-law, Joyce Gardner of Hillsville; sisters and brothers-in-laws, Karen and Danny Hoosier of Dobson, NC, and Lisa and David Sparks of Mt. Airy, NC; nephew, Isreal Williams; nieces, Taylor Sparks, and Abby Sparks; great niece, Kylee Williams.

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, August 1, 2017 at 3:00 PM at the Hillsville Pentecostal Holiness Church in Hillsville with Pastor Jeff Pickett and Pastor Jeff Vogler officiating. Burial will follow in the James Gardner Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday, July 31, 2017 at Hillsville Pentecostal Holiness Church from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Also a Celebration of Her Life will be held on September 20, 2017 at Ocean View Beach in Norfolk, VA. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
