Thelma Jean Reece, 82 of Hillsville, Virginia passed away on Friday, March 7, 2025 at her home.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Alley Glade and Virginia Woods Anderson; son, Jason Whitaker; brothers, Joe Anderson and A.G. Anderson.

Survivors include her husband, David Reece; children and spouses, Brenda Carpenter, David and Sonya Hash, Jerry and Carol Hash, and Billy Whitaker; step-son and wife, Michael and Regina Reece; step-daughter, Melissa Reece; siblings, Bob and Dana Pollard, and Mallie Pollard; ten grandchildren and several great grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday, March 10, 2025 at 1:00 PM at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel with Pastor Darren Lambert and Pastor Jay Law officiating. Burial will follow in the Marshall Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel on Monday, March 10, 2025 from 12:00 PM until time of the funeral service.
