Thelma Arizona Love Goad, 87 of Hillsville, passed away on Friday, July 6, 2007 at Trinity Mission of Hillsville. Mrs. Goad is survived by her husband Henry Heath Goad of Hillsville; daughter & son-in-law Darlene & Kelly Henley of Hillsville; sons & daughters-in-law Foy & Lois Almalee Goad of Dallas, NC, Freddie & Ernestine Goad of Hillsville, Sanford & Mary Goad of Hillsville, Junior Heath & Carol B. Goad of Hillsville and Darrell & Denise Goad of Hillsville; brother & sister-in-law James & Ethelene Love of Galax; sister & brother-in-law Gladys & Alan Rudisill of Cana; eight grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, July 8, 2007 at 2:00 PM at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel with Rev. Wendell Horton and Rev. Elmon Thompson officiating. Burial will follow in the Isaac Banks Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM on Saturday night at the funeral home.
