Thelma Irene Davis, 90 of Hillsville passed away at her home on Friday, August 13, 2010. She was preceded in death by her parents Eugenus Glover & Clarissa Candace Goad Horton and husband Garnett Davis. She is survived by two daughters & son-in-law Reva & Jim Wright, & Judy Reece & Richard Kangas all of Hillsville; brother & sister-in-law H.B. & Ruth Horton of Inwood, WV; three sisters & brother-in-law Beulah Jennelle of Radford, Lloyd & Johnsie Poole of Christiansburg & Talma Hovatter of Christiansburg; two grandchildren & spouse Eric Marshall and Sarah Sawyers, Whitney & Lee Merrion; great grandchildren Austin Marshall, Kassidy Marshall, and Savannah Carpenter; special friend Barbara Chappell; caregivers Becky Davis & Sarah Sawyers. Several nieces & nephews also survive.

Funeral service will be held on Monday, August 16, 2010 at 12:00 PM at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel with the Rev. Wendell Horton and Elder Ronald Bowman officiating. Burial will follow in the Quesenberry & Bobbitt cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, August 16, 2010 one hour prior to the funeral service. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
