Thelma Imogene Branscome, 91 of Hillsville, passed away on Thursday, June 5, 2025 at Heritage Hall Laurel Meadows.  Mrs. Branscome was born on March 18, 1934 in Carroll County to the late Orville and Edna Marshall.  In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Rex "Jack" Branscome; and brothers, Charles "Billy" Marshall and Clyde Harper.

Survivors include her sister, LaVern Buchanan (Edward); brothers, Neal Marshall, Lawrence Marshall, Robert Marshall, and Giles Marshall (Carolyn); and several nieces and nephews.

Imogene was a faithful member of the Round Knob Church of Christ in Austinville.

It was Imogene's wish that there be no visitation at the funeral home.  Her desire was to have a graveside service with her family, her Church family and close friends so a graveside service will be held on Saturday, June 7, 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Shupe Cemetery with Minister Edward Buchanan officiating.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Shupe Cemetery c/o Ed Buchanan 1297 Howlett Street, Hillsville, VA 24343. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
