Thelma Bunn, age 79 of Hillsville, born August 16, 1933 passed away on Friday, November 23, 2012, at her home. She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Glendi Bunn, parents, Paul Jones and Mittie Coulson Bowman, brothers, Everett Bowman, Donald Bowman, Darrell Bowman, Paul Jones, Jr. great grandson, Adam Umstead, daughter-in-law, Della Bunn. Survivors include, daughter & son-in-law, Glenda & Nathan Culler, Ararat, VA, sons & daughters-in-law Terry & Dianne Bunn, Cana, VA, Gary & JoAnn Bunn, Stanton, VA, Tommy Bunn, Hillsville, VA, Timmy Lee Bunn, Galax, VA, Jimmy & Joyce Bunn, Ararat, VA, Johnny & Connie Bunn, Galax, VA, 11 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, 3 step grandchildren, 5 step great grand children. Sisters & brothers-in-law, Barbara Wittensoldner, Hartfield, OH, Velda Jones, Austinville, Margie & Clifford Byrd, High Point, NC, brothers & sisters-in-law, Charles & Reva Bowman, Austinville, J.D. & Elza Bowman, Ararat, Elder Ronald Bowman, Austinville, Bernard (Tom) & Judy Bowman, Austinville, a sister-in-law, Betty Sue Bowman, several nieces & nephews also survive. Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, November 26, 2012 at 11:00 am at the Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel with the Elder Melvin McGrady, Elder Michael McGrady, Elder Ronald Bowman officiating. Family will receive friends on Sunday, November 25, 2012, six until eight pm at the funeral home. Interment will follow in the Martin Cemetery.
