Thelma S. Alley, 78 of Fancy Gap, passed away on Tuesday, February 7, 2023 at Hillsville Health and Rehabilitation in Hillsville. Mrs. Alley was born in Grayson County, Virginia to the late John and Grace Kirby Snow. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Garnett Wayne Alley and two brothers.

Survivors include her children, Tammy Felts and Melvin Thomas, Jr; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 13, 2023 at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel at 2:00 PM with Pastor Wendell Horton officiating. Burial will follow in the Pickett Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 1:00 until 2:00 PM prior to the funeral service. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
