Terry Leroy Arnold, Sr., 65, of Fancy Gap, passed away on Friday, November 11, 2011 at the Veterans Medical Center in Salem. Mr. Arnold was born in Grayson County to the late Marvin Lester Arnold and Edna Louise Sutherland Arnold. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by a son Michael Allen Arnold; and brothers Marvin Arnold, Jr., and David Arnold. He is survived by his sons Terry L. Arnold, Jr. and wife Roxanne of Sparta, NC and John Eric Arnold of Abingdon; sisters Linda Vaughn and Gary Rowe of Galax, Anne and Joe Didio of Smithfield, VA, and Bonnie Arnold of Galax; and two grandchildren.

A graveside service with burial following will be held on Monday, November 14, 2011 at 1:00 PM at the Providence Cemetery. Military Rites will be conduced at the graveside by the Hillsville V.F.W. Post 1115. A celebration of life service will be held on Sunday, November 13, 2011 at 3:00 PM at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday beginning at 2:00 PM prior to the celebration of life service.
