Tammy Marie Nelson, 43 of Hillsville, passed away on Wednesday, May 22, 2019. Ms. Nelson was born in Galax, Virginia on December 16, 1975. She was preceded in death by her father, Dewey Elmond Nelson.

Survivors include her children, Bodhi Ambrose Allen of Galax, Willow Marie Dalton of Hillsville and Ayla Lily Nelson of Hillsville; step-children, Leigha Starr Dalton and William Tyson Dalton of Hillsville; mother, Frances Marie Johnson of Hillsville; and brothers, Edward Nelson of Richmond and Robert Lee Nelson of Pocahontas, VA; step-brothers, Mark Johnson of Galax, Aaron Johnson of Hillsville.

A memorial service will be held Wednesday, May 29th at 7PM at Blue Ridge Fellowship in Galax. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
