Sylvia Brown Tobler, 72, of Laurel Fork, passed away on Friday, April 10, 2009. Mrs. Tobler was preceded in death by her husband, Orfie E. Tobler, parents, Denver E. & Estella Banks Brown, one son, Richard Edward Tobler, one sister, and one great-grandchild. Surviving are her children & spouses, George (G.W.) Marshall of Meadowview, VA, Barbara T. Akers of Floyd, VA, Debbie & Anthony Quesenberry of Copper Hill, VA, Jeffrey & Kathy Tobler of Hillsville, VA, Candy & Michael Hylton of Laurel Fork, VA. Two sisters, Wanda Freels & Nadine Taylor, both of Maryland. 15 grandchildren & 10 great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 14, 2009 at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel at 11:00 am, with Pastor Kevin Powell & Mr. Bill Banks officiating. Burial will follow in the Orfie Tobler Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday, April 13, 2009 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm
