Sylvia J. Stilwell, 96 of Dugspur passed away Saturday, August 5, 2017 in Galax. She was preceded in death by her husband, J. Roosevelt Stilwell; parents, Perry and Bessie Duncan Jennings.

Survivors include her two daughters and son-in-law, Maxine Choate of Galax, and Carol and Bill Amstutz of Dugspur; son and daughter-in-law, James Guy and Elva Stilwell of Dugspur; brother and sister-in-law, Jack and Ola Jennings of Kerneysville, WV; three grandchildren and spouses, Dwayne and Sara Stilwell, Jennifer and Kent Ross, and Patrick and Karen Amstutz; two great grandchildren, Allison Amstutz and Amber Amstutz.

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, August 8, 2017 at 11:00 AM at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel. Burial will follow in the Dry Pond Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel on Tuesday, August 8, 2017 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM.  Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the Stilwell family.
