Sylvia Frost Jones went to live eternally with her Lord and Savior, to forever be with her husband, Emmett Jones, her son, Charlie Jones, and her parents, Isaac and Bessie Frost. She was always prepared to help anyone in need and worked hard all her life to care for her loved ones. She loved her family, her church family, and her community. She was greatly devoted to the family business, Jones Nursery.

In addition to her husband, son, mom, and dad, she is preceded in death by her loving sister, Mildred Frost Kemp, and niece, Dreama Frost.

She is survived by her daughters, Deborah Jones Thompson and Karen Jones Campbell (CL). Also surviving are her beloved grandchildren Bethany Campbell, Lauren Campbell, Lakyn Thompson, Addie Campbell, Joseph Jones, and Grayson Jones. She is also survived by her brothers Wayne Frost (Sheila) and Carlos Frost. Nieces and nephews also survive. Beloved sister in law, Christine Jones Larrowe, and daughter in law, Julia Jones, also survive.

Her family is tremendously grateful for the love and compassion shown by her brother Wayne, Pastor Jeff Pickett, and her church family during this time. Her family also greatly appreciates the unparalleled kindness of Dr. Phan, Dr. Figueroa, and all the nursing and respiratory therapy staff at New River Hospital, as well as Dr. Pryor and his staff.

A graveside service with burial following will be held on Saturday, November 26, 2022 at the Woodlawn Cemetery at 11:00 AM with Pastor Jeff Pickett officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Hillsville Pentecostal Holiness Church P.O. Box 534 Hillsville, VA 24343. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
