Sylvia J. Edwards, 82 of Hillsville passed away Wednesday, April 5, 2006 at Baptist Medical Center. Mrs. Edwards is survived by her daughters & sons-in-law Frances & Edmond Key of Hillsville, Edith Maxine & Jerry Akers of Austinville, and Patty & Obie Key of Gatorsburg, MD; sister May Lineberry of Hillsville; brother Robert C. Myers of Hillsville; six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Saturday, April 8, 2006 at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel at 2:00 P.M. with the Rev. Frank Jones and the Rev. Jimmy Harmon officiating. Burial will follow in Monta Vista Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 7: 00 to 9:00 P.M. on Friday night at the funeral home.
