Sylvia Easter Coble, 82, of Hillsville, passed away on Wednesday, February 22, 2012 at Twin County Regional Hospital. Mrs. Coble was born in Wythe County to the late John Thomas and Mary Etta Dalton Westmoreland. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband Everett Ray Coble; step-son Freddie Coble; and granddaughter Cindy Simpkins. She is survived by her daughters and son-in-law Arenitta and Rickey L. Simpkins of Parrott, VA, and Reva Ann Davis and Mary Katherine Coble both of Hillsville; brother Carl J. Westmoreland of Richmond; grandson Thomas Simpkins; and family dog Kismo. Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 24, 2012 at 11:00 AM at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel with Rev. Jeff Pickett, Rev. Carl Forester, and Rev. Gerald Humphreys officiating. Burial will follow in the Osborne Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, February 23, 2012 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
