Susie Dalton, 89 of Hillsville, went to be with her Lord on Monday, October 29, 2007. Mrs. Dalton was born in Carroll County, Virginia to the late Floyd & Lula Nichols Moore. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Kyle Dalton. She is survived by her children & spouses Betty & Bill Henley of Hillsville, Mary & Joe Turman of Willis, and Erby & Kathy Dalton of Willis; sister Mae Kemp of Dublin; brothers Carlos Moore of Radford and Dewey Moore of Christiansburg; seven grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, November 1, 2007 at 11:00 AM at Pine Grove Missionary Baptist Church with Dr. Allen Cherry officiating. Burial will follow in the Dalton Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Pine Grove Missionary Baptist Church on Wednesday night from 6:00 until 8:00 PM.
