Susan Gladys Hill, 100 of Hillsville, passed away on Thursday, November 04, 2010 at her home. Mrs. Hill was born in Carroll County to the late Daniel and Lelia Leftwich McCraw. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband Troy B. Hill. Survivors include daughters and son-in-law Vera Mae and William M. McGrady and Frances Irene Sumner all of Hillsville; brother Roby McCraw of Fancy Gap; sister Violet Hall of Cana; four grandchildren L. Carolyn Sumner, Michael McGrady and wife Leah, Brenda McGrady, and Marica Montgomery; six great grandchildren; one step great grandchild; five great-great grandchildren; two step great-great grandchildren; and special caregivers Michelle Kenyon, Jessie Hall, Betty Grimes, April Williams, Randi Snow, and Autumn Fuller.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 6, 2010 at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel at 2:30 PM with Elder William M. McGrady and Elder Michael McGrady officiating. Burial will follow in Wilkinson Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, November 5, 2010 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM.
