Susan Marie Dorsey Turner, 73, of Laurel Fork passed away on Wednesday, March 25, 2015 at Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson, NC. Ms. Turner was born in New Britain, CT to the late William R. and Helen Conrad Dorsey. Survivors include her children and spouses, Edward M. Turner, IV and Machiko of Christiansburg, Samuel D. Turner, MD and Emily of Duxbury, MA, and Anne D. Turner and fiancé, Brandon Wright of Laurel Fork; brother, Steven Dorsey of MA; and grandchildren, William Henry Turner, John Patrick Turner, Natalie Claire Turner, and Michael Edward Turner. A funeral mass will be held on Saturday, March 28, 2015 at Holy Angles Catholic Church at 11:00 AM in Mount Airy, NC with Father Lawrence W. Heiney officiating. A burial will be held at a later date at St. Mary's Cemetery in New Britain, CT. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family locally.
