Susan Curry, 86, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on February 10, 2025. She was a faithful and loving Wife and Mother. She adored her 14 Grandchildren and her many Great Grandchildren.

Susan was born on February 28th, 1938, in Delbarton West Virginia to Wayne and Nancy Sheppard. She was preceded in Death by her Parents, 10 Siblings and 2 Grandchildren. Susan is survived by her Husband of 65 years, James M. Curry Sr. and their four Children James M Curry Jr; Sharon Horvath and Husband Edward; Eula Simmons and Husband Sam; Wayne Curry and Wife Amanda. She is also survived by her Sisters Margaret Williams and Dixie Moser as well as her Brother Phillip Sheppard and his Wife Elaine.  She was also survived by her Grandchildren Hannah, Samantha, Joshua, Josef, Melissa, Roby, Becky, Kayla, Benjamin, and her Step Grandchildren Sara, Lela, and Amber.

Mom loved Jesus, gardening, singing hymns and flowers everywhere. She spent her life in service of others, babysitting, Senior Home Care, and later she and her Husband started the Good Shepherd Food Pantry in Ohio where they fed thousands of people over the course of a decade.

Mom's final words were "Help me up, I want to dance with Jesus".  Until we meet again in heaven Momma, dance and enjoy the flowers.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, February 15, 2025, at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel. Visiting hours start at 10 am and the service will begin at 11:00 am with Reverend Jerry Copley officiating. Burial will follow in the Wilkinson Memorial Cemetery.  Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
