Susan Marie Cole, 62 of Hillsville, passed away on Monday, May 1, 2023 at her home.  Susan was born in Michigan to the late Marvin Henry and Luella Crowder Dean.  In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, C.B. Cole and a daughter, Leslie McFall.

Survivors include her son, Mason Cole; step-sons, Jason Cole and Justin Cole; sister, Janet Privatsky; brothers, Jerry Dean, Kenny Dean, Robert Dean, and Kevin Dean; and six grandchildren, Lillyan, Westin, Dawson, Michael, Willow, and Calvin.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 6, 2023 at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel at 2:00 PM with Pastor Ronny Isom officiating.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 1:00 until 2:00 PM prior to the service.   A reception will follow the services at the home of Kenny and Roseanne Dean 460 Sheeptown Road, Austinville, VA 24312. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
