Summer Lynn Nicholson 43 of Dugspur, VA passed away on Friday, September 17, 2021 at Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson, NC. She was preceded in death by her mother, Cheryl Smythers; brother-in-law, Wesley Brannock.

Survivors include her children, Gage Nicholson and Bryce Nicholson; father, Gene Smythers; siblings, April Brannock, LaGena Thompson, and Matt Smythers; nieces, Ashley Caviness, Haley Caviness, Destiny Brannock; nephews Trent Mace, Tanner Mace, and Bentley Caviness; cousin Steve Shrewsberry.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, September 24, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel. Burial will follow at the Farris Mines Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM on Friday, September 24, 2021. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the Nicholson family.
