Sue Cox, 83 of Hillsville, passed away on Wednesday, September 27, 2023 at Hillsville Health and Rehab.  Mrs. Cox was born in Hillsville, Virginia to the late E.O. (Mutt) Semones and Geneva Rippey Semones.  In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, John Cox; and brother, Glen Semones.

Survivors include her sisters, Jane (Lincoln) Weddle of Roanoke, VA, Willa (Ralph) Shropshire of Collinsville, VA, Brenda Wingate of Independence, VA, and Phyllis Larrowe of Woodlawn, VA; brothers, Bobby (Linda) Semones of Melbourne Beach, FL, and Dan Semones of Roanoke; cherished friends, Ron and Jennie Tweed, Casey and Kelli Adams, and Jenna Bond; and several nieces and nephews.

Per Sue's request, there will be no public services; however, inurnment will be in the Ridge-View Cemetery in Eden, NC at a later date.  Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
