Stewart Holcomb Brewer
Stewart Holcomb Brewer, 45 of Fancy Gap, passed away on Tuesday, June 30, 2026 at his home. Mr. Brewer was born in Forsyth County, North Carolina on September 4, 1980. He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Brewer.
Survivors include his mother, Susan Brewer; brother, Lucas Brewer (Mary Kate); bonus brother, Darius Queen (Leanna); niece, Walker; and nephews, Yadkin and Fisher.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 18, 2026 at the First United Methodist Church in Hillsville at 11:00 AM with Pastor Douglas Fairbanks officiating. The family will receive friends at the church that Saturday from 10:00 until 11:00 AM prior to the memorial service. Inurnment will be in the Oak Forest Methodist Church Cemetery in Winston Salem, NC. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
