Stevie Carl Roop, born April 23, 1952, passed away on Tuesday, January 7, 2014 from complications with Parkinson and Progressive Supra Nuclear Palsy. He resided in Fairburn, GA. Stevie was the youngest son of the late Hobert Eugene and Gardie Francis Quesinberry Roop. Survivors include his daughter, Brittany Lenae Roop Chaney of Mt. Airy, NC; brothers, Roger Dale Roop of Dugspur and Larry Eugene Roop of Lynchburg, VA; and the mother of Brittany, Mollissa Roop Semones of Hillsville. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 11, 2014 at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel at 10:30 AM with Rev. Jerry Mitchell and Mrs. Peggy Mitchell officiating.
