Sterling Norman Tom Dalton, 82, passed away on April 14, 2006 at Twin County Regional Hospital in Galax, Virginia. He is survived by one brother and sister-in-law, Russell Reeves & Bonnie Dalton of Hillsville; one sister, Cosby Dalton Nester of Hillsville; and several nieces and nephews.

Mr. Dalton was preceded in death by his parents, Franklin Pierce & Samaria McPeak Dalton, brothers Merlin Rush Dalton and Howard Phillip Dalton, and sisters Gladys Dalton Nester, Tokie Dalton, Alma Dalton, Moray Dalton, and Emma Dalton Meyers.

The service will be on Monday, April 17, 2006 at 11:00AM at the Vaughan Guynn McGrady Chapel with the burial at Branscome Cemetery.The family will receive friends on Sunday, April 16, 2006 from 7 to 9 PM at Vaughan Guynn McGrady Funeral Home.
