Stella Christene Parnell

Stella Christene Parnell, 86 of Austinville, passed away on Saturday, May 9, 2026 at her sister’s home. Ms. Parnell was born in Carroll County to the late Arthur Joseph and Zelda Alderman Parnell. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by a sister, Ella Geraldine.

Survivors include her sister, Juanita Fay Flanagan (Donald) and many cousins.

A graveside service with burial will be held on Thursday, May 14, 2026 at the Parnell Cemetery at 1:00 PM with Pastor Russell Payne officiating. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
