Sonia Lucille Easter, 85 of Austinville, passed away on Monday, April 22, 2024 at her daughter's home in Clarksville.  Mrs. Easter was born in Carroll County, Virginia to the late Royal Early and Beulah Jane White Hancock.  In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Charles Ray Easter and several brothers and sisters.

Survivors include daughters, Lisa Fraizer (Junior) and Nancy E. Snyder; special son, Mark Hancock; grandchildren, Laurie Naff (Daniel) and Mindy Pedrero (Garrett); seven great-grandchildren; and brother, John Hancock (Janet).

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 25, 2024 at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel at 11:00 AM with Pastor Jeff Pickett and Rev. David Bays officiating.  Burial will follow in the Allen Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 10:30 until 11:00 prior to the funeral service.  Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
