Son Cha Meeks, 67 of Hillsville, passed away on Wednesday, February 4, 2009 at her home. Mrs. Meeks was preceded in death by her husband Rufus L. Meeks, Jr. She is survived by her son William Meeks of Hillsville; daughters Nancy Quesenberry of Hillsville, Jeannie Darrh of Boaz, Alabama, and Katherine Felts of Fancy Gap; sister Soon Cha Kwon of Virginia Beach, Virginia; brother Son Sun Ho of Georgia; and seven grandchildren Alex Quesenberry, Shawn Meeks, Michael Scott, Christy Scott, Cameron Darrh, Corey Darrh and Tyler Sessoms.

A funeral mass will be held on Saturday, February 7, 2009 at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel at 9:00 AM with Father Ken Shuping officiating. Burial will follow in the Felts Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, February 6, 2009 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM.
