Sierra Katlyn Fender, infant daughter of David W. Fender and Deborah Melton of Woodlawn, passed away on Tuesday, February 6, 2007 at Carilion New River Valley Medical Center. In addition to her parents she is survived by her sister Crystal Melton of Woodlawn; paternal grandmother Mary Fender of Woodlawn; maternal grandmother Georgie Parks of Galax; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

A graveside service with burial following will be held on Friday, February 9, 2007 at 2:30 PM at Fender Family Cemetery with Pastor John Nunley officiating. There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
