Shirley June Templeton, 73 of Hillsville, passed away on Tuesday, August 28, 2018 at Forsyth Medical Center. Mrs. Templeton was born in Roanoke on August 18, 1945 to the late Carl and June Worrell Coe. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Gerald Clarence Templeton and a son, Shane Clark Templeton.

Survivors include her sons and daughter-in-law, Carl and Stephanie Templeton of Hillsville and Matthew J. Templeton of Hillsville; siblings, Franklin Coe of Hillsville, David Coe of Hillsville, Susan Epperly of Montvale, Katie Cochran of Hillsville, and Mary Combs of Cana; and three grandsons, Nathan Templeton, Ethan Templeton, and Devan Templeton.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, August 30, 2018 at Sylvatus Christian Church at 12:30 PM with Pastor David Bays officiating. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
