Shirley Mae King, 80 of Cana, passed away on Sunday, January 7, 2024 at her home.  Mrs. King was born in Carroll County to the late Alonzo Ralph and Dorothy Mae McCrary.  In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Bill Anderson King; sons, Larry Ralph King and William Anderson King, Jr. (Jr.); and special friend, Garfield Hawks.

Survivors include her children, Mickey King, Tony King, Barry King, Donna Faye King McCraw, and Cynthia (Cindy) McCraw; two special grandchildren, Chris King and Wesley King; nine grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

A private service will be held at a later date.  Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
