Shirley Anne Gill, 86 of Hillsville, passed away on Sunday, June 27, 2021 at Heritage Hall Laurel Meadows.  Mrs. Gill was born in Trenton, NJ to the late Joseph and Jenny Lewis VanDyne.

Survivors include her husband, Al Gill; children, Sharon Garthwaite and Charles Gill; five grandchildren, Nicholas, Jamieson, Tarran, Shawna, and Heather; and twelve great-grandchildren.

A service will be held on Thursday, July 1, 2021 at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel at 6:30 PM with Bishop Warren Gwynn officiating.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 5:30 until 6:30 prior to the service.  Inurnment will be in the Southwest Virginia Veteran's Cemetery on Tuesday, July 6, 2021 at 1:00 PM.  Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
