Shirley Jones Bunn, 75, of Fancy Gap, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, October 18, 2013. She was preceded in death by her parents, Everett and Virgie Barber Jones; two brothers, Frank Jones and Everett Jones, Jr. Survivors include her husband, Grey Bunn of the home; daughter and fiancé, Debbie Thompson and Randy Harris of Mocksville, NC; son and daughter-in-law, Greg and Kristi Bunn of Fancy Gap; sister and brother-in-law, Helen and Tommy Sumner of Fries; special brother-in-law, Gene Bunn of Fancy Gap; six grandchildren and spouse, Anne and Mike Bodsford, Micah Phelps, Bobby Phelps, Karissa Bunn, Kalee Bunn, and Kyle Bunn; three great grandchildren, Garrett Bodsford, Brittney Bodsford, and Trysten Bodsford. Funeral services will be held on Monday, October 21, 2013 at 2:00 PM at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel with Rev. Dewey Felts and Rev. Garry Allen officiating. Burial will follow in the Independence Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, October 20, 2013 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the Bunn family.
