Shirley T. Bowman, age 93 of Columbus, OH, and formerly of Carroll County, Virginia, passed away on Monday, August 3, 2026. Mrs. Bowman was born in Hartfield, Virginia to the late Denvy Warren and Nannie Wave Blake Thomas. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, John Cassell Bowman.
Survivors include her son, Denvy Bowman and daughter, Mary Jo Bowman.
A graveside service with burial following will be held on Sunday, August 9, 2026 at Gladesboro Cemetery at 2:00 PM with Pastor Joann Bunn officiating. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
