Sherry L. Nester, 55 of Laurel Fork, passed away on Tuesday, March 16, 2021 at her home.  Mrs. Nester was born in Virginia on December 2, 1965.  She was preceded in death by her sister, Christina Barrett. Sherry was a beloved wife, mother and grandmother.

Survivors include her husband, Charles Nester of the home; daughters, Crystal and Andy Roberts, Gina Raymer, and Jessica Powers and Zachary Clowdis; parents, Bobby and Lois Kafka; siblings, T.J. Barrett, Johnny Kafka, and Sandy Peterson; eight grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

A graveside service with burial will be held on Friday, March 19, 2021 at Maple Shade Cemetery at 1:00 PM with Pastor Ronnie Goad officiating.  The family will receive friends at the cemetery from 12:00 until 1:00 PM prior to the graveside service.  Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
