Sherman Melton's Obituary
Sherman Melton, 93, of Meadows of Dan, passed away on Monday, March 28, 2016 at the VA Medical Center in Salem. Survivors include his daughter, Sharon Gardner of Meadows of Dan; grandson Theodore (Ted) Gardner; and step son, Harold Hawks of Meadows of Dan.
A graveside service and burial will be held at Bell Spur Cemetery with Elder Tim McGrady officiating on Saturday, April 2, 2016 at 1:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Bell Spur Cemetery c/o Avis Light 8211 Squirrel Spur Road, Meadows of Dan, VA 24120. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
