Sherman Lee Henley, age 89 of Hillsville, born September 17, 1923 passed away on Wednesday November 21, 2012 at Pulaski Community Hospital. He was preceded in death by his wife, Martha A. Henley. Survivors include, son, Dale Henley of the home; daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Rickie Moore of Hillsville; sons and daughters-in-law, Kelly and Darlene Henley of Hillsville and Roger and Carolyn Henley of Rural Hall, NC; two grandchildren; two great grandchildren; sister Burnis Trail of Roanoke; and brother and sister-in-law Alvin and Ellen Henley of Allisonia. Funeral services will be held, Saturday, November 24, 2012 at 2:00 pm at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel with Rev. R.J Buttery officiating. Burial will follow at Farris Mines Cemetery in Allisonia, VA. Visitation will be held on Friday, November 23, 2012 from 6:00 till 8:00 pm at the funeral home. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
