Sharon Louise Shute

Sharon Louise Shute, 64 of Hillsville, passed away on Sunday, August 30, 2026 at Johnson City Medical Center. Ms. Shute was born in Pennsylvania to the late Chester and Cora Shute. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother.

Survivors include her son, Michael Reece; daughter, Renee Reece; brothers, Barry Shute (Sue) and Chester Shute (Virginia) of Pennsylvania; sisters, Kathy Grumbine (Fred) and Brenda McKay (Joseph); and three grandchildren, James Reece, Ashlar Reece, and Zakk Reece. Four nephews and five nieces also survive.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, September 11, 2026 at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel at 11:00 AM. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
