Sharon Edwards Shaffer, 56, of Austinville passed away on Saturday, January 19, 2013. She was preceded in death by her mother, Helen Reece Edwards. Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, April Shaffer and Greg Dycus of Hillsville; son, Jason Shaffer of Hillsville; father, Elmer A. Edwards of Austinville; sister and brother-in-law, Renee and Mark Sexton of South Boston; niece, Annalise Sexton of South Boston. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, January 22, 2013 at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel with Rev. Alan Page officiating. Inurnment will follow at the Beasley Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, January 22, 2013 from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
