Sharon Ann Kemp, 87 of Hillsville, passed away on Thursday, December 7, 2023 at her home.  Mrs. Kemp was born in Georgia to the late John Earl and Elizabeth Collins Grubbs.  In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Billy Morgan Kemp; daughters, Pam Loyd and Adrienne Davis; and grandson, David Michael Loyd.

Survivors include her daughters, Christine Kemp and Beth Harrell; seven grandchildren, Kenneth Morgan, Kyle Patrick, Billy Ray, Stephanie Faye, James, Michael, and Dorothy Denise; and two great-grandchildren, Taylor and Brody.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 13, 2023 at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel at 10:00 AM with Pastor Joe Bryant officiating.  Burial will follow in the Shockley Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 9:00 until 10:00 AM. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
