Shane Wilkinson, 28 of Mt. Airy, NC, passed away on Saturday, March 22, 2008. Mr. Wilkinson was preceded in death by two brothers Bobby F. Hall and Shannon (Chubs) Hall. He is survived by his mother Phyllis Wilkinson of Mt. Airy; father Tim Wilkinson of Gainesville, FL; brother David Shawn Stone of Mt. Airy, NC; sister Heather Wilkinson of Mt. Airy, NC; grandmothers Frances Willis of Galax and Helen Coleman of Galax. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 27, 2008 at 2:00 PM at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel with Rev. Jim Longest officiating. Burial will follow in the Wilkinson Memorial Cemetery. Military Rites will be conducted by the Hillsville V.F.W. Post 1115. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday night from 6:00 until 8:00 PM.
